What to Expect at Your Microblading Appointment

Knowing what to expect for your microblading session may help ease any nerves or anxiety about the process. Take a moment to familiarize yourself as we take you step by step through your appointment with Kayana Beauty.

Step 1: CONSULTATION
Do you want to make a bold statement or a more natural, soft look? We determine your best brows by listening to your brow aspirations. Thickness, arch, boldness, and comfort zone are a few factors that play a very important part in creating brows you’ll love.

Step 2: DESIGN
We map a brow shape using the PhiBrows compass, known for its perfect calculation and symmetry. We will also choose a color for your new brows that best suits you.

Step 3: NUMBING
This way it doesn’t hurt so much. A topical anesthetic is applied for 20-30 minutes on the brow area to ensure you feel as little discomfort as possible.

Step 4: PROCEDURE
Once your brows are numb, the Microblading procedure begins.

Step 5: REVEAL
We wipe away the excess ink to reveal your new brows. Warning: it might take a moment for your eyebrows to adjust and be able to spot the Microbladed hair strokes

Step 6: HEALING
Your new brows will go through a healing phase that will take approximately 6 to 8 weeks. You’ll then come back for a follow up session where healing is evaluated and minor touchups are made for flawless brows.
