Eyebrow Correction & Cover Up

Eyebrow Correction & Cover Up

Book Brow Correction

Eyebrow Correction and Cover Up is a specialized procedure designed to improve or refresh existing permanent makeup. It’s ideal for clients with faded, discolored, uneven, or outdated brow tattoos. Using advanced techniques, we adjust color, shape, and placement to restore a more balanced, natural appearance that complements your features.

Before proceeding, all existing brow work must be assessed and approved to ensure that correction or cover-up is achievable. In some cases, partial or full tattoo removal may be required prior to your new brow procedure.

Factors We Consider

Severity of Scarring: Scar tissue absorbs pigment differently than healthy skin. The more severe the scarring, the more challenging it can be for the brow area to retain new ink. During your consultation, we’ll assess your skin’s texture and healing response to determine the best approach for safe and effective results.

Shape and Hair Stroke Placement: If your previous brow tattoo or microblading has an irregular shape or misplaced strokes, it may limit your correction options. Depending on the design, some clients may benefit from a tattoo lightening or removal session before new brow work can be performed for best results.

Level of Saturation: Existing pigment must be faded by at least 50–70% before correction. If the area is still too dark or saturated, new pigment will not layer properly. In these cases, we may recommend one or more tattoo removal sessions to lighten the area before proceeding.

Skin Integrity: Your skin must be fully healed before any corrective procedure can take place. Healing time varies from person to person, but we recommend waiting at least 8 weeks after your previous permanent makeup session to allow your skin to recover completely.

We take time to evaluate your existing pigment and skin condition before crafting a custom plan that restores harmony to your brows. Eyebrow Correction & Cover Up FAQ

Can you fix any old brow tattoo?
Not always. Some tattoos are too dark, deeply saturated, or unevenly placed to be corrected safely in one session. In these cases, we may recommend tattoo removal first to lighten the pigment before creating your new brows.
How faded does my existing brow tattoo need to be?
For best results, your brows should be at least 50–70% faded. This allows the new pigment to layer evenly and blend naturally with your skin tone.
Do I need to send photos before booking?
Yes. Clear, well-lit photos of your current brows are required for assessment. This allows us to determine whether correction or removal is needed before scheduling your appointment.
Can correction be done on scar tissue?
In some cases, yes — but results can vary. Scar tissue may retain pigment differently and may require additional sessions for optimal color and definition.
How long should I wait after my last brow tattoo or touch-up?
We recommend waiting a minimum of 8 weeks after your last procedure to ensure your skin is fully healed and ready for correction.
Will my brows look darker after correction?
Initially, yes — as with any brow tattoo procedure, the pigment will appear darker during the healing phase. The color will gradually soften and settle into a more natural shade as your skin heals.
